Kathleen Ross. Reflections. 2020

Two female figures are portrayed in this artwork. A series of metaphorical openings serve as reflective surfaces as well as conduits for communication and passage. Conversely, both figures appear disconnected by an almost intractable space which is cluttered with a sea of clothes. Although neither figure appears to be connecting, they appear to be linked in another way, as indicated by the pink hair color, the dress, and the fingerprint. The primary color scheme simplifies the composition, allowing the viewer to focus on the symbolism embedded throughout the piece.
