My hike up the edge of Yosemite Falls off the trail has proven impossible. Exhausted and we are now looking to find the main trail back to the valley floor. We stopped for a moment to regroup, when from the edge of a cliff, a slight disturbance occurred. Glancing over to where the noise came from, I noticed a mother bear and her curious cub foraging along the edge of the cliff looking over the valley floor. Quickly I grabbed my sketchbook and rendered the moment to recreate it in my studio.
