(Part of Series: Vertebrates on the Brink of Extinction). Don't trouble trouble till trouble troubles you! The Blue Crane is a special bird in South Africa. When a man distinguishes himself by deeds of valor, he is often decorated by feathers of this bird presented by a chief. Heroes wearing the feathers are known as Men of Ugaba (trouble). The implication is if trouble arises they will restore peace and order.
