I met this beautiful mare at Thornwood Farms in NJ. She is an Egyptian Arabian and posed with such grace for my camera it was as if she knew just how stunning she was. Her coat was such a shiny copper penny chestnut that I knew I needed to capture her in oils instead of graphite. I hope people can feel the regalness of her and see the gentleness of her soul in her eyes.
