This original oil painting is about the treasures in sea both man made and nature’s.
I love history.I love historical jewelleries and castles because of the unbelievable stories they have to tell.Love ,hatred,sorrow,revenge,lust,crimes,greed and dedication.Some we know some we don’t know ,lost in the time.I tried to incorporate several historical pieces to this painting.My favourite one is Queen Anne Boleyn’s ‘B’ necklace.And also I tried to do justice to the Lilly of Valley’s Fabarge egg and a sapphire ring of a famous duchess.

Most of all I wanted show how mermaid and the sea creatures feel about this vast treasures, oblivion to the immense wealth they are surrounded with serene,calm and peaceful.You know what is the reason to their calmness and serenity?Because the are the treasures themselves!
