In these three paintings, a minimalist abstract triptych, I am introducing the theme of the window or the screen. The painting offers somewhere for our gaze to land, something to look at, or something to observe. Making the experience pleasurable for the viewer is one of my goals. A screen that gives a pleasant visual experience, even just for a moment, no need to scroll, no need to refresh.

I am trying to explore the idea developed by Mark Rothko of seeing visual art as an opportunity to meditate, where the work of art is seen as an object of contemplation. As we contemplate the work of art, the work of art could invite us to meditate. And the role of the artist can be to facilitate this experience and make it as easy as possible.
