This is an original piece of artwork done with acrylic paint on stretched canvas.
To me, this piece represents prayer, ascension, or dreaming. I wasn't quite sure what to name this piece until my mother said it looked like a dreamcatcher and I liked that, so made it two words to call to The Dream Catcher. The large orb at the top of the piece, and the hand prints beneath it, remind me of Native American cave paintings of large orbs or spirals in the sky. This was an emotionally loaded piece with environmental and mental stress weighting on every dash of color. However, this piece manifested itself and is just a reminder that although we may go through times of turmoil, there is a Higher One that hears and answers our prayers, and that loves us.
