This is the second painting in the "Walkabout" series.

This series is a journey starting in the dark and walking unexpected ways forward in "The Edge"; Drifting through Space and Time in "SpaceWalk"; and finding life and renewal in "Sapphire Road."

Sometimes after finding new ways forward it doesn't feel as we might have imagined, there is a feeling of walking through space and time, drifting through doors and diners, nostalgia and dreams, and looking for light. Eventually, we all have to choose to walk towards light and life or stay in the dark. To wake up or keep dreaming. To choose hard truths or beautiful lies. To walk towards newness or stay in a false reality.

Psalm 37:23-24 (NIV):
23 The Lord makes firm the steps
of the one who delights in him;
24 though he may stumble, he will not fall,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.
