This is the first painting in the "Walkabout" series.

This series is a journey starting in the dark and walking unexpected ways forward in "The Edge"; Drifting through Space and Time in "SpaceWalk"; and finding life and renewal in "Sapphire Road."

Footprints are a marker of a path taken by the viewer, leading through this world. Sometimes you have to keep walking through darkness to see anything. Through dark times there are always unexpected ways forward, even if frightening. At the Edge, sometimes when we think it is over, there are new ways forward. The light is always shining in the darkness. There is only one way forward, keep moving.

Psalm 119: 33
