I have always been fascinated with the adventure, risk and “no fear” attitude of climbers. Who cast all doubts, phobias aside in favor of exploring and actively challenging the challenge of climbing, scaling the highest mountain peaks! For this project, I stripped bark from wood stump, lightly sanded the piece, used the natural landscape to depict climber position, detailed peak accents and carved the image of mountain climber ascending to the peak following a dream! A one of a kind art treasure.
