My painting of Marxist Revolutionary Ernesto "Che" Guevara, this painting was inspired by the famous photography taken by Alberto Korda in 1960.
I am somewhat in awe of Che Guevara in the sense that he was a man who sacrificed everything( his life included) for an ideal and belief, though i can't say i agree nor condone some of his actions but he was a man who "walked the walk" when he deemed it necessary to.I used mixed media of oil paints and acrylic colours on canvas so as to give my artwork a sense of identity and vibrancy in terms of my colour selection.
