This first piece in a collection of four in the series symbolizes the beginning of time.
The x-rays symbolize the world- naked, pure and transparent. Nothing left unseen.
Tip-X and Jik/ bleach were used as an art medium to create light. Both products are used to erase mistakes. Ironically, in trying to reach perfection and purity, we(mankind) are still trying to erase mistakes by using products that inevitably leave a mark.... "The beauty of imperfection"
