The Colorful Lioness
The Lion is painted with both acrylic and oil paint and on a 1.5” deep canvas. The paint continues over the canvas walls, extending the artwork another 1.5” on all 4 sides. This piece is painted with mostly a pallet knife. The vibrant colors add for a lively, fun and energetic vibe.
The lioness meaning is mostly known for her majesty, strength, courage, justice, and military might. Commonly referred to as "the KING of the beasts," she is also a symbol of Kingly power and might, but as the lioness she is commonly related to the Great Mother and protection.
