My inspiration for this painting was Joe Capobianco, a well known painter and tattoo artist. He does the best pin-up and vampire paintings and tattoo’s, and other unique stuff. I look at his work from time-to-time online and for some reason I came across a similar painting to this one and I wanted to see if I could pull it off, and here it is. SHHH… is a painting of a sexy vampire chick holding her pointer finger to her red glossy lips. That is where the name SHHH… came from. Her fingers are bloody with long red nails and her ring finger has a black ring on it. Her eyes are brown, her hair is long and dark brown with streaks in it, and she has red and yellow marks on her forehead and right cheek near her mouth. This pop-art style painting is on a 24”x36”x0.875” stretched canvas, and I used high quality acrylic paints, mainly BASICS, GOLDEN & LIQUITEX HEAVY BODY. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out, and I hope that it’s viewers will like it as well.
