'Field Of Iris Flowers', painted in 2017 in Southern France, this painting is my pride and joy. It features 16 iris flowers in different shapes and colors, all bright and complimentary to each other, on a nondescript blended gray - blue background. The light background makes the flowers pop, and the green leaves and stems of the flowers tie everything together. The flowers themselves have colors that flow from dark and subtle to bright and fun, to create a full profile. Dark purples, blue and red toned violets, and dark blues are balanced by the bright yellows, pinks and white shades, with green blending them all seamlessly.
