Captured live on the lawn
at the Eiffel Tower in
Paris, France. After a
couple days of struggle
with everything from
directions to ordering a
cup of coffee, arrival here
and the creation of this
sketch was a personal
turning point, marking
the beginning of an
awe-struck fascination
with French culture.
Soon I would have a head
filled with Camus, a
heart filled with Rimbaud,
and a spirit spiced with
color conspicuously glowing
like green absynthe in a
Toulouse-Lautrec painting.
