The initial composition of this series is brought about in a subconscious/intuitive application of various paints (both aqueous and alkyd) to produce an almost alchemical interaction. There is spontaneity in both the application and the interaction of the materials on the surface of the substrate.
Following the application of paint, forms are realized through pencil delineation and subsequently brought to completion with fine tipped pens filled with archival ink . At this point the pieces are top coated with a misting of matte lacquer.
