A young woman and her horse stand together in the bright sun. Her job is to ride folks through the wilderness but she does it for the love of the animals and the beauty of the land. She is wearing a wide brimmed straw hat that hides part of her face as she caresses her horse into a state of peace and quiet. The fellowship between them is obvious. I paint portraits of folks doing things they love.
