Ever since graduating from the University of Buffalo many years ago, I have painted routine subject matter. The quality was there but the overall composition was boring.
I now live in Southport, North Carolina with my lovely wife Elaine. I recently joined the local art association Associated Artists of Southport. The AAS manages and operates the Franklin Square Gallery located in downtown Franklin Park.
Since moving to Southport, I am very much involved in developing unique 2D art work primarily with acrylic and pastels on canvas. Southport affords me with interesting subject matter I have yet to exploit. However, I have just completed a work titled Sweet Dreams using a neighbor and her pet cat as models. Shortly, I plan to release a three piece series of local interest: Cleaning Spots, Walden Pond, and Smells Fishy.
I welcome you to visit my art gallery. Please feel free to critique any of my art work.
Thanks a bunch,
