Ever since I can remember, I've always loved the arts. When I was in grade school I began drawing for my classmates and contributed to our yearly book of writings. When I went on to Intermediate, I took a couple of Art classes, where I learned more about drawing and was introduced to the sculpture arts. In High school, I was privileged to take a few Art classes with gifted teachers, and entered into a couple Art Shows where I placed in the top three. I was nominated by my teachers to receive the Bank of America award for Fine Arts, and won the Senior Medallion Design Contest. After graduating, I pursued my B.A. in Art Education where I was blessed to take many different courses in Drawing, Painting, Photography, Computer Graphics, Sculpture, Jewelry, and Art History.
I've never stopped using my hands to create things. Now being a mother of one beautiful baby, and with another one on the way, I've picked up hand sewing. As side work, I am also able to facepaint. Life is full of creative possibilities, its our responsibility to nurture it, love it, and share it.
My gallery is composed of photos I've taken as I've traveled this beautiful country, with the splendor of Creation by the Creator. Stay tuned for other pieces of art. I hope you enjoy looking at the world through my eyes.
