I'm currently a student at the Alberta College of Art and Design. I've had a passion for art since I was a little kid. Markers and pencil crayons were truly my best friends. Since then I'd like to hope my skills developed a little more and pushed me further in to a developed craft. Photography has been my main medium for a few years now but I'm trying to expand my tastes and experiences in to other fields both familiar and unfamiliar. When not out taking photos, making art, or at school, you can find me at the movies, adventuring with friends, or volunteering with community theatre projects.
About The Art
My practice is something that's constantly changing and developing, however there are some similar themes in my works. I have a passion for nature, especially landscapes and flora. The human body - including nudes and portraits - is something that has also constantly intrigued me and I plan to incorporate it as much as I can in the future. The mixing of traditional and modern mediums is also becoming present. Using anything from analog photography, traditional print, and embroidery to digital photography, digital art, and video, I aim to keep tradition alive while incorporating innovation.
