I was born in Romania in1953 and educated in Israel at the university of Tel-Aviv and working in South Africa. I am an electronics engineer by profession. I discovered art later in life and began my art-making journey with life drawing attending life-drawing classes. I studied art at the University of Witwatersrand.
My work explores many themes ranging from the human form to still life and abstraction. I like exploring the literary works of the Spanish poet Federico Garcia Lorca .My work is a concern with the human condition, relating to love, alienation and culture .I like experimenting and exploring a variety of media from oil, charcoal, mixed media and ceramics. I am influenced by the 20th century German Expressionist artists.
