I Was Evelyn

I Was Evelyn

I have always known the importance of art as a mindset, utilizing a range of media in order to approach art as a narrative exchange between artist, environment, and creation. This has manifested most recently in art actions such as Puppet Slam at Bloomington’s Fuller Projects gallery, and Impulse: Playing House as a Blank Artist at Nashville’s Ground Floor Gallery, where I am currently also an intern. In addition to my practices of illustration, sculpture, and experimental narrative, I publish essays and art thoughts via my blog Art Beat Nashville, which covers art across South East. I regard these practices as various manifestations of the same creature; art as life.
