Back in the early 1990's I travelled extensively throughout India and whilst in the northern state of Rajasthan I stumbled upon a shop selling Indian miniatures and immediately fell in love with their amazing detail and delicate touch. A year later I returned and purchased many miniatures, chiefly in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kishangarh, frequently from the artists themselves. I was very discerning with the selections I made, as the quality varied a great deal. The paintings were put into storage, due to work commitments, until now and I have recently mounted them all myself. The mounts fit standard size photo frames, readily available on the high street, so no expensive trips to a framer!
I have added a new collection of framed vintage materials. These are very individual wall decorations made from old Rajasthani fabrics, mounted and framed in the U.K., for a unique look.
