My name is Marcia-Michelle. Thank you so much for visiting my page. I am a thriving entrepreneur and the name of our business is H.E.R. H.E.R. stands for Having Every Right to create a piece using any avenue and develop a message defining that piece. I draw as though art is my only form of expression. A woman who strives to be empowered and empower others through creative expression is who I am. As my coach and father would say, “IMHO” (In my humble opinion), the human race is the only race. True love between two individuals is all that matters and strong looks great on women too.
I am a true “Atlantan”, born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Some of my former accomplishments outside of art was being a competitive amateur boxer nationally ranked, former competitive Olympic lifter and a medal holding powerlifter in the USAPL. While attending Georgia State University I attempted to take one art class and found it “ultra boring.” Obviously art is my passion but being confined to an assignment just wasn’t for me. I graduated and am living my dream now with creating freely and sharing with you and others. Many creative forms allow me to delve into different parts of myself that make up my self. I follow the light of the passion that guides me to create by using charcoal, paint, pencil, crafts like needles and threads, carving tools and mallets to hammer away at an image.
“Draw as though art was your only form of expression, you cannot speak, you cannot touch, you cannot even gaze upon another.”— Marcia-Michelle B.
