Arsenije Jovanović

Born in Belgrade, Serbia. Living both in Croatia and Serbia. Theatre, radio, TV director, composer, writer and audio-art author since 1960's.Visiting professor at State University of NY, Albany, USA. Co-initiator of the sound workshop at Kunstradio, initiator of Sound Workshop at Media Arts Centre, Sydney University, sound workshops in Finland and Faeroe Island, Poland, Italy and other. Producing works in studios of Radio Belgrade, Radio France, RAI, Yleisradio, Kunstradio, SFB, WDR, ABC-Sydney, Radio Sarajevo and other.

Together with Ilinka Čolić-Jovanović founder of Adriatic Sound Factory, sound laboratory settled in Belgrade and Rovinj. Multiple prize-winner of international radio festivals like Prix Italia, Premio ondas, Acustica international (WDR), Grand Prix (Rust, Austria), Bienalderadio (Mexico), IRIB radio festival (Iran), New York Festivals (Bronze trophy for ”Sogno di un automobikle”) many times finalist at Prix Italia festival, New York Festivals, Radio educacion (Mexico), IRIB radiofestival (Iran) and other. His music has been used by American film author Terrence Malick in a few of his movies (“Thin Red Line”, ”The Tree of Life”, ”To the Wonder”, soon in the ”Knight of Cups”). Married by Ilinka Colic, artist and his expert-associate in the field of music and sound for many years.
