Eve Kharag

Eve Kharag

A fine art trained artist working against the rigid mechanized world of manufactured home decor.
My paintings bring a sense of quality and originality, cheerfulness and inspiration to the work and home space.
I effectively create magnificent paintings that set a wall off and bring a sense of originality and beauty to an otherwise stark naked wall. I can create one off commissions or design and 'stage' a whole property depending on your needs.

'Eve Kharag's intuitively arranged work reflects an investigation into the palettes and raw dynamics found in nature and interprets them into a vibrant colourfield.
As well as working in traditional oils there's also a demonstration and a love for watercolours. Working with water demonstrates a primitive aspect to her process for its spontaneity and emotional quality. Delicately arranged surfaces or decoupage reflect the multidimensionality and transitory nature of post modern life.
Her roots are in Cyprus and India which may be seen in the paintings.
Jewel like decorations suggest blessings, depictions of the unseen or a spiritual presence amongst dense sweeps of saturated colour on cotton canvas.
She currently lives and works in Huddersfield, UK
