Artist Statement by Esther Suh
The theme of my art is the memories of my daily life. In the process of making art, I use various printmaking techniques such as silkscreen, woodcut, drypoint, and monoprint. All these processes have been blended together in each of my artworks. Each piece features mixed but recognizable images in layers. The motifs in my art are based on repetition and accumulation, rhythms that are present in everyday life.
