Vincent van Gogh‘s paintings have captured the minds and hearts of millions. He has made art lovers of those new to world of art. As a post impressionist and probably the most famous painter of all time, van Gogh has influenced generations of artists worldwide since his time. Trying to find the “bright colors of the South”, Vincent settled to Arles in 1888, where he created 187 paintings in just two years until his death. Unfortunately, van Gogh neither reached his final destination Marseilles nor has he gone to where the colors are even much brighter ...

As a german artist and full of admiration for Vincent's paintings I am dedicated to impressionistic artwork 'featuring Vincent van Gogh'. I really love “bright colors” and places all over the world where they can be found.
As a biologist, I am enthused for art, nature, hiking, trekking or walking.
As an author, I try to establish a link between those passions by publishing a book series called "ART WALKs - impressive and healthy journey in words and pictures".
For me, art walks through Berlin together with my wife are most happy-making experiences. It can be just a walk in the park or neighborhood. Especially in everyday things you can often find a lot of art and beauty. Even on supposedly well-trodden paths along the sights of Berlin, you can experience many places and situations full of magic.
In particular, contrasts are fascinating me. They are what makes Berlin so unique. Hardly any other European city is so sexy and full of highlights. Countless historical sites and famous buildings can be found right next to a variety of museums and other highlights.
Join my art and have fun!
Yours, Ralph
