Artist Troy Bjorklund loved to draw and paint as a child. He went on to study architecture and fine art at the University of Wisconsin. From there his art career has spanned from award winning paintings to commissioned murals and wildlife art to fine art festivals. Troy’s architectural classes exposed him to various techniques and skills which are illustrated in his cityscape paintings. He brings precise detail and perspective to each of his cityscape paintings. Troy’s passion for wildlife and scenic views is portrayed in his wildlife and landscape paintings. He establishes a mood with the use of color and tones that evokes wondrous emotions from people viewing his paintings. Although Troy was raised in Wisconsin, he and his wife Lisa now reside in Arizona. They enjoy traveling and photographing points of interest throughout North America. Their travels enabled them to capture nature’s beauty as well as the architectural marvels of the big city. Some of their favorite destinations include the Black Hills of South Dakota and the Pacific Coast.
