I was inspired to paint little over a year ago. Painting came to me as a necessity after the doctor told me to quit driving which basically left me housebound. I had to figure out what to do with my time. I remember it was just before Easter; so I started to paint bunnies.
I have a death sentence;, a disease called MSA.(your body gradually breaks down).its a Parkinson -like disease. There's no cure for multiple systems atrophy. I am handicapped. The disease has taken way most of my muscle so I can barely sit up straight. I have trouble walking and talking. I need fulltime caregivers.
When I started I had no idea which paints to use, so I bought a starter kit with oils, acrylics and watercolors. I goggled how to paint a sunflower,up came some instructions on you tube, and I was off and running. Since then I have painted 40 pieces. They range in size, styles and subject matter. All are painted with acrylics.
I have given them all to my good friends and family. They were painted with each person in mind and given to them with love.
In Dec. a friend commissioned me to paint her two grandsons from a picture she cherished. So that's how I got here; what an novel idea! Sell my paintings!
So what you see in my gallery are all original acrylics ,signed and framed. Some are in my gallery, others belong to my friends. So if you see something you like, buy it. I would really appreciate the help.
